Hamburg Airport is connected to the city by the S-Bahn S1 commuter train line, which connects to the main station (Hauptbahnhof) and the city center in about 30 minutes. Leaves every 10-20 minutes

 

Taxis are easy to come by in Hamburg. They accept credit cards and the meter usually starts at €2.50. A trip anywhere in the bounds of the city should cost between 6-12 euro. Of couse if you are coming from the airport it will be more costly approximately 25-30 euro

 

Hamburg is an extremely bicycle friendly city and during the warmer months, many of the cities residents will use bicycles as their normal form of transportation. Several hotels within Hamburg provide residents with access to hotel bicycles. Rent bycles for relatively cheap
